Dr. Yogesh Bendale is a rare confluence of dedication towards pure traditional knowledge of Ayurveda, cutting age modern scientific methodology, keen translational medicine sense and a vast global clinical exposure.

Dr. Yogesh Bendale believes in “Ayurveda based applied principles and knowledge pool along with critically processed products has the capacity to cater global unmet medical needs of the current age.”

Dr. Bendale is an internationally renowned Ayurvedic practitioner. He has successfully treated thousands of patients globally - several of them from royal families and their peers in various countries - for variety of health problems including life-threatening ones.

An Ayurveda Pharmacologist from Pune University, Dr. Bendale has more than 40 international patents including anti-cancer drugs to his credit, with many more in pipeline. He founded and runs Rasayani Biologics – a fundamental drug research company with focus on development of solutions in the fields of oncology, immune-modulators, vital organ protectives and agricultural biotechnology.

He runs a pharma company ‘Ayurveda Rasayani’ to facilitate production of high quality Ayurvedic medicines for global markets.

Dr. Bendale provides management, R&D and scientific consultancy to Ayurvedic manufacturers through ‘Ayurveda’ a national and overseas pharmaceutical consultancy. He is member of the prestigious cancer society ASCO (American Society of Clinical Oncologists and ESMO (European Society of Medical Oncologists), Member of American Association of Cancer Research (AACR), Member of International association for the study of lung cancer, Expert member of General body of Central council of Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), New Delhi and many more. Recently he has been designated as Vice Chairman of Geriatric Oncology Study Group of MASCC (Multinational Association of Supportive Cancer Care) Canada from 2020 for a minimum 3year period. He is a Member of Governing Council of Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, where he has completed his under and post- graduation studies. This institute is one of the oldest colleges of Ayurveda in India.

He was instrumental in setting up a 175 bedded modern day Ayurvedic hospital in Germany.

Dr. Bendale has the honour of being the only Ayurvedic practitioner to be permitted to practice independently in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

He displays an evangelical spirit in spreading Ayurveda internationally. He was secretary of European Academy of Ayurveda in Italy and Sai-Dhanvantari institute of Ayurveda in the Netherlands.

Dr. Bendale, the gold medallist physician who started his career as student of Ayurvedic Pharmacology, has several national and international papers to his credit. He runs a Bi-monthly e-journal - ‘Rasamruta’ - dedicated to research in Ayurveda. He has been a member of multiple national and international organizations.

Dr. Bendale supports efforts to uphold Indian Knowledge System, where all the sciences of that era are born out of a common set of fundamentals. He is Patron of ‘Bhandarkar Oriental Research Institute’, Pune, a renowned research institute for Indian sciences; Founder President of ‘Association for Consciousness and Knowledge of Vedic Sciences’, Paris and Secretary of ‘Bharatiya Sanskriti Pratishthan’, Pune.
